Chinese Calligraphy

Chinese Calligraphy is a CCA that focuses on the mastery of 3 traditional visual art forms: Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Painting and Seal Carving.

In our CCA, we practise both Pen and Brush Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Painting and Seal Carving. We take part in various competitions to hone our skills. To showcase our works, we will organise exhibitions in our school library once every two years. During Chinese New Year each year, we will also put our skills to good use through the sales of CNY couplets. All the profits will be donated to charity organisations.

Why should you join us? We are able to master Calligraphy, Chinese Painting and Seal Carving skills under experienced and affable teachers, who not only teach us but also make our learning experience joyful. What’s more, our activities are fun and enriching. Also, we are thankful for a conducive environment, which allows us to focus and improve our skills. As we hone these skills, we have the opportunity to participate in various competitions, reaping the rewards and gaining affirmation for our hard work!

进入书画社后，我们将有机会学习书法、国画和篆刻。我们每年都会参加不同的比赛，以帮助我们提高书画水平。这些比赛也增添了我们的自信心和成就感。同时，我们每两年会组织一次展览，向全校同学展示优秀的书画作品。每年的农历新年，我们都会举办春联义卖会，所筹得的款项都会捐给慈善机构。
